Why does ⅓ of the train run dead-head?
editFrom the article: "Cars 1 to 7 are ordinary-class cars with 2+3 seating, car 11 is a "Green" car with 2+2 seating, and cars 8 to 10 and 12 are not available for passenger use."
Why does JR West operate 12-car trains for this service if seats in only 8 of the cars are actually sold? Does JR West plan to either eventually sell seats in all 12 cars, or instead build & assign 8-car trains to the service?
Can passengers in the "Green" car walk between car 11 & the other cars, or are they confined to that vehicle for the duration of their trip? 108.246.206.139 (talk) 00:43, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
