I am resubmitting Tugg Wilson’s draft for approval, having found and referenced evidence of his artistic and publishing activities after his service in the Royal Navy. I hope these and Wilson’s extraordinary contribution to the morale of those of all ranks over so many years, acknowledged by no lesser persons that the First Sea Lord (as quoted under “Death”) and by King Charles III (under “Naval Career”) will now earn him a presence in Wikipedia. It is interesting to compare his draft page with the published pages of many of the hundreds appearing under “Category: Royal Navy officers” who have few or no citations and no mention of anything other than their naval appointments or participation in a sport.
