Middle class

edit

I think it should be pointed out that Dappy and Tulisa did not grow up on the hard streets as they claim, but they are middle to upper class. They went to good schools, and lived in nice houses growing up as both of their fathers are rock stars from the band Mungo Jerry. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/story/contostavlos-takes-aim-tulisas-bad-girl-image_1223817 85.119.25.27 (talk) 08:51, 8 June 2011 (UTC

Tulisa has stated in her book honest that she did grow up in a rough neighborhood where she was bullied lived in a one bedroom flat with her parents and not a three bedroom house (which should be corrected). Also that her father left home when she was 9 yrs old not 14.

Dappy also grew up on a council estate.

There is confusion because when they were born they both lived with there gran parents for a year which was a three bedroom house before there grand parents left the country and went back to Greece all explained in Tulisas book.

Album

Please remove the album title Young there is no confirmation of this just because the single is called young does not mean to say the album is too. Mr JKX (talk · contribs)

The result of the move request was: Move. Consensus is that the singer is the primary topic of the term Tulisa. Cúchullain t/c 14:52, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

– Seriously, are we actually going to pretend that any of the other three things are a patch on Tulisa in terms of notability? None of them are anything other than stubs. Unreal7 (talk) 23:31, 26 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Genre

edit

This article has been edited by socks of MariaJaydHicky. One of this vandal's hallmarks is removing "pop" as a genre and adding in a different genre in its place. (I guess they just don't like the idea that they like pop music.)

Recently, they has been one WP:SPA editor and a number of IPs removing "pop" and replacing it with "grime". Until such time as there is substantial discussion to the contrary and/or ALL genres cite reliable sources, the existing genres as of this edit are assumed to be the last stable version prior to the last confirmed sock of MariaJaydHicky.

Yes, the vandal frequently makes changes without explaining, provides false edit summaries, claims they are not a sock, etc. It is apparently very important to them that some songs/albums/artists are not listed as "pop". It's likely they'll even discuss it here with whatever explanations they care to make up. Sock cases, blocks and edit protection will be used as needed. - SummerPhDv2.0 00:06, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Davey2010 any particular reason as to why you keep removing my sourced edits? Gamerboy4life (talk) 01:52, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yup, The current layout is fine and didn't need changing, Also I would disagree and say she hasn't released a song under the grime genre, Please seek consensus for your changes, Thanks. 01:56, 10 January 2020 (UTC)

Name's transliteration into Greek

edit

No source is cited for it; I suspect it's OR (a presumption by whoever added it). While TulaΤούλα and ContostavlosΚοντόσταυλου are what someone who is familiar with Greek names would expect (except for the placement of the tonos in the surname), Παυλίνα is the transliteration of Paulina. Is the e in Paulinea silent? —71.105.243.101 (talk) 16:56, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Change "although Henderson did achieve a record deal and successful music career after leaving the competition." To "although both Henderson and Spraggan did achieve record deals and successful music careers after leaving the competition." 92.30.229.102 (talk) 21:46, 20 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 22:28, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
In the career section, when talking about Tulisa's solo career, there is a paragraph about her coaching the 'girls' category on the x factor 2012. I would like part of the paragraph changed to reflect Lucy Spraggan's success as well as Ella Henderson's. So the line that reads "although Henderson did achieve a record deal and successful music career after leaving the competition" I would like to be changed to "although both Henderson and Spraggan did achieve record deals and successful music careers after leaving the competition". 92.30.229.102 (talk) 16:00, 22 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
