A Heroic Engineer
editI spent some time with T.H. Lin at UCLA in the mid 1980's. The design and construction of the C-0101 was a heroic task, with the construction relying on scrap airplane parts, bamboo, and wood. The construction techniques derived largely from "traditional" Chinese scaffolding and temporary construction. Working conditions were ridiculously primitive. He may well be said to have built a modern cargo aircraft single-handedly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.215.115.31 (talk) 22:17, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
