- That's why I put up the NPOV tag a while ago, but it was immediately removed by the next user. The text was nothing more than Turkcell press releases, and Wikipedia has no business asserting that one company is better than another. I hope my rewrite of the article has fixed the problems with it. ProhibitOnions 12:56, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- I just read it, it looks like it's fixed, good job! I didn't do it by myself, since I am an old Turkcell user, i couldn't be objective i guess.. well thanks.. As2431 16:14, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Turkcell logo.jpg
editImage:Turkcell logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:51, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Third in Europe
editAt least 7th in Europe per List of mobile network operators. The source claims obviously unreliable statements. Elk Salmon (talk) 15:41, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Name
editI think there is a problem about name. This article is about the company that contains all worldwide operations. Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş. is a company owning by Turkcell Grup that operating in only Turkey. But the name of company that we write about in this artcile contains Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş., Kcell, Astelit and the others. Please check page 5 and 61. The Emirr Disscussion 16:04, 15 June 2012 (UTC+3)
Also, I have seen yet, Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. is Turkcell Grup's shares exchanging in NYSE. But you can see in the Annual Report, there is many paragraphs it spells as Turkcell Grup. The Emirr Disscussion 16:45, 15 June 2012 (UTC+3)
- I think you are misunderstanding this subject here, Emirr. "Turkcell Grup" is "TURKCELL İLETİŞİM HİZMETLERİ A.Ş."; they use it in the report, because it is shorter. There are two legal entities with similar name: one is Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş., and the other is Turkcell Holding A.Ş., owning about 51% of the former. There is no company named Turkcell Grup. Look at page 92 of the annual report (your source); you can see there the official name of Turkcell again. And this article is about Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş., and not the holding company. Raamin (talk) 15:28, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oops! My wrong. You are right, sorry. Happy editings. The Emirr Disscussion 17:56, 16 June 2012 (UTC+3)
