Fair use rationale for Image:Interpol totbl 570x570.jpg
editImage:Interpol totbl 570x570.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Leif Erikson
editIsn't the song Leif Erikson named after the Leif Erikson submarine (which, IIRC was spelled Lief Erikson) that appears in the Illuminatus! trilogy books. The submarine is of course named after Leif Erikson, the norse explorer. I believe this since, among other reference, the song Stella was a diver... is probably a reference to the character Stella of those same books. Change as apropriate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Torgnylyon (talk • contribs) 18:54, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Titling?
editSince this is the COTW, I thought I should ask, is there a chance that the page should be renamed to Turn on the Bright Lights (notice capital!)? Looking at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization), I am actually unclear from the article's lead as to what their opionion is of "on", and googling it brings up usage of each about 50/50. What does everyone think? --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 06:11, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
- "On" Is and adverb here. It thus goes capitalised, end of discussion. ≤ alvareo [speak to me] ≥ 21:18, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- "End of discussion" is always a horrible way to attempt to end any discussion, especially one on a discussion-based encycopedia. The album's cover says "Turn on the Bright Lights", which is why it was titled in this manner. --SteelersFanUK06 HereWeGo2010! 01:11, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Turn on the Bright Lights → Turn On the Bright Lights – Per WP:MOSTITLECAPS. This page has been previously moved without discussion several times (1, 2, 3, 4). Although the album's cover says "Turn on the Bright Lights", I don't think "on" is used as a preposition in this case (see also Turn On the Lights). 153.202.145.239 (talk) 21:52, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- Support. I note the previous apparently undiscussed move 01:49, 4 June 2010 SteelersFan UK06 (talk | contribs | block) . . (39 bytes) (+39) . . (moved Turn On the Bright Lights to Turn on the Bright Lights: To end this argument, the album is not capitalised on it's cover...). This doesn't end the argument at all. That's a primary source. Nom has made a good case above; On is here part of a compound verb rather than a preoposition. Andrewa (talk) 02:55, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
