editK. Urwin, Langenscheidt's Standard French Dictionary spells the French word with a grave accent, not acute (as in a version that I have recently reverted. However, the word was introduced into the English language several hundred years ago, and can thus be regarded as now being an English word, which should accordingly not be accented at all: see for exapmle, W. K. V. Gale, The iron and Steel industry: a dictionary of terms (David and Charles, Newton Abbot 1972), 216. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:12, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
That's OK, but I think it should be noted here that this word also can be spelled as tuyère, so I think the mentioning of this another spelling in the beginning of the article won't be deleterious at all.46.147.154.138 (talk) 06:56, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
