editWhy cant we just make the f**king page!!!!!!?????? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.107.58.195 (talk • contribs) 21:48, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Because it's far too early for an entire season article when all we have is confirmation that the series has been renewed. We don't create season articles until there is a substantial amount of verifiable content. --AussieLegend (✉) 04:17, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- OK. So, what's "substantial" to you? 97.107.58.195 (talk) 21:52, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
- Generally, we don't create season articles until there are episodes scheduled to air. --AussieLegend (✉) 05:04, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, OK 97.107.58.195 (talk) 14:08, 6 April 2014 (UTC)

Green color
editI truly despise the green color. Is it possible to change it to something more tasteful? Callmemirela (talk) 19:45, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
Main Cast
editPer press releases for recent episodes, only Jon Cryer, Ashton Kutcher and Conchata Ferrell are regulars for this season, yet the main cast on this page has six actors listed. --Babar Suhail (talk) 14:24, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
- I think they were following the episodes' main cast listing. I will review this by comparing the newest episode with the source, and I will maybe make changes if there isn't anyone else who wants to object to this. Callmemirela (talk) 16:03, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
- I actually made the changes previously,[1] but was reverted, twice.[2][3] The series has a long history of listing actors in the opening credits, but refer to them only as "recurring" in press releases. --AussieLegend (✉) 16:27, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
- If the episode lists the whole cast as it is whilst the source says otherwise, I suggest it is best we use what the episode lists, considering it is official and the main source for listing actors. If both are identical, we will add the source and create a section on the talk page to prevent editors from reverting. Callmemirela (talk) 16:39, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

- I reviewed this request through the newest episode, and it mentions what we have currently listed. If Amber were to be a recurring cast, they would have announced her downgrade. I believe it is best we leave as it is. The Two and a Half Men episodes are primary sources, and in this case The Futon Critic is a secondary source. Callmemirela (talk) 19:29, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
- The downgrade has been announced through the the press releases. Futon Critic doesn't generate its own content, it reproduces the press releases issue by the networks, we give greater weight to secondary sources. --AussieLegend (✉) 09:25, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
- I agree with AussieLegend. The episode press releases are directly issued by CBS and should be given greater weight. Here is the show's page on CBS's press site, and also lists only the three I mentioned earlier as "starring". All episode press releases can be found there, too.--Babar Suhail (talk) 14:29, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
- I am well aware of The Futon Critic's sources. I just find it odd that those sources mention something whilst the episodes say otherwise. For me, episodes are primary sources no matter what and The Futon Critic, TVbytheNumbers, etc. are secondary sources. If CBS supports the new cast changes, then the cast should be changed. Callmemirela (talk) 15:49, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
- The problem we have is one of billing. It's common now for people to be credited on-screen giving the impression that actors are starring when they're still only recurring. It was explained at length a long time ago by an editor who knew the full story but I found it confusing. The networks and the actors' unions (or whatever the actors are members of) don't consider Wikipedia when they do this and they don't really care how it affects Wikipedia. As I said earlier, Futon Critic is a secondary source and we generally give greater weight to secondary sources. However, as Babar Suhail pointed out, the press releases are all at cbspressexpress.com and they explicitly identify the actors as "regular", "recurring" and "guest". The TV episodes do not. They just list the actors so, to assume that the actors listed are all starring, is really WP:SYNTH. This is but one reason why greater weight is given to secondary sources. --AussieLegend (✉) 16:05, 9 November 2014 (UTC)

- This still hasn't been resolved--Babar Suhail (talk) 18:29, 25 November 2014 (UTC)

- Please include a source that cites this. I would also like you to view WP:CRYSTAL. Not all double-lenght episode have two episode numbers together. Therefore, include a source. Callmemirela (talk) 13:09, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
