editNotable Alumni: This section shouldn't be used for self-promotion. I would suggest that one possible measure of inclusion would be if the person has their own independent entry already. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.191.11.130 (talk) 17:06, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yep that is what the normal criteria is and what I have moved it to.--VVikingTalkEdits 14:37, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- Stella Elkins Tyler is not of the Widener family, her father's sister, Eleanor, married Peter A. B. Widener, so in essence she is not directly "of the family." Her 1st cousins were Wideners. Her grand-father, William L. Elkins, was an important Philadlephia figure in and of himself, with no relation to the Wideners. Peter A. B. Widener and William L. Elkins were initially business partners. So, in essence, reference to the Widener family is not accurate.
COI
editGoing to add a COI tag as a confirmed COI editor has been editing this article adding a lot of information that is better suited for the schools website or facebook page and not an encyclopedia. VVikingTalkEdits 14:37, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
