It should be noted that the Luzhou class was actually launched after both the Luyang I and Luyang II classes, if in fact it has even launched at all as of this moment. It was still in development and production stages even after the Luyangs had completed sea trials and began normal routine service in the SSF. Jaguitar (talk) 19:21, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Please disregard, I misread succeeded by as preceded by on the Luyang page. It should be noted actually, that this is the first PLAN vessel designed from the keel up as a purely air-defense platform. Jaguitar (talk) 19:23, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
