Sections needed to define the major components
Important concepts like 'carriage', 'typebar', 'key lever' are not defined or explained. The terms are just used in context, seemingly assuming that "everybody knows". Would someone familiar with the technology care to improve? --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 11:54, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
Equivalent point sizes to pitch sizes
I am struggling to reconcile the "everybody knows" that 10-pitch pica font is 12-point against the apparent mathematics that seems to say otherwise. Would some kind soul have a look at Talk:Pitch (typewriter)#Equivalent point sizes and tell me what I am missing. TYVM. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 14:31, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
