"Typhoon Higos (international designation: 0221,[1] JTWC designation: 25W[2]) was estimated to have been the third strongest typhoon to affect Tokyo since World War II. " "estimated" seems odd here IMO. I suggest you drop it. YEPacificHurricane20:40, 7 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
"Higos passed very near Tokyo around 1200 UTC that day,[4] and the JTWC estimated it was the third strongest typhoon to affect the city since World War II.[2] " I suggest re-wording it to ""Higos passed very near Tokyo around 1200 UTC that day,[4] becoming the third strongest typhoon to affect the city since World War II.[2] ". ". By that time, the storm was beginning to transition into an extratropical cyclone, and at 0600 UTC on October 2 Higos completed the transition.[1] At that time, the JTWC discontinued advisories.[2] " It looks weird as "that time", suggest re-wording the "at that time" to "Subsequently" or "Simultaneously".
