Happy New Year and WikiCup. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- "Typhoon Utor, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Seniang,[2] swept through the central Philippines in December 2006, exacerbating the damage left behind by previous Philippine typhoon strikes that year and causing additional fatalities and damage over those same areas." mind making this opener more simple? I don't think anyone expects the read the word "exacerbating" in the 1st sentence of an encyclopedia entry. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Done – I removed the last part of the lead as it was redundant to "exacerbating" the damage, but I kept that word as it is most precise word to describe the impacts of Utor. TheAustinMan(Talk·Works) 22:34, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- "In addition, moisture associated with tropical cyclone caused extensive flooding in Malaysia. Lesser but still significant impacts occurred on China's Paracel Islands." what is the point or this sentence? You mention this is both the 2nd paragraph of the lead and body it seems. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Done – Removed the part about the Paracel Islands but kept word of Malaysia as that was a fairly considerable part of the storm's impacts
- " However, wind shear and dry air began to take its toll on Utor thereafter, quickly weakening the storm until its dissipation on December 15." link to wind shear. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- " Utor's impacts in the central Philippines were extensive, with 30 casualties reported and the damage toll reaching US$15.8 million." 2006 USD?
- Done – Relocated a note from the bottom of the article. TheAustinMan(Talk·Works) 22:34, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- "Formed
December 7, 2004
Dissipated December 15, 2004" 2004?? Did you cut and paste the infobox from another article? Be honest. :P YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Done – fixed. TheAustinMan(Talk·Works) 22:34, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- I think you should note what the storm peaked at per the JTWC in the MH. I know they are unoffical, but on most forums, are the most relied/respect agency. That has to amount for something I guess IMO. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Done – I don't really care what the forums say but I included a snippet of it since it is included in the infobox. TheAustinMan(Talk·Works) 22:34, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- What was the storm's PASAGA's name? YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Done – Seninang, as stated in the first sentence of the article.
- " resulting in the spilling of 25,000 liters (6,600 gallons) of diesel fuel.[22] " why are units spelled out? YE Pacific Hurricane 19:29, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
- Done – Abbreivated. TheAustinMan(Talk·Works)
