Why has this been moved to Gloucestershire. This is going to completely cockup people finding the right Kingswood. Bob aka Linuxlad 12:35, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

editI reverted to remove both links that were added, one inline, and the other in external links. Barely populated commercial directories that are not supported by local government do not satisfy the criteria for inclusion in external links for a place article. aliasd·U·T 23:02, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Hmm. It's a tiny village. I would have thought that a link to the village pub website adds value to the article, and the other website, although fairly small at the moment, is populated mainly with details of church services and local events. I'd describe it as a (or rather, the) community website rather than a commercial directory. --Southglos 23:34, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Merger proposal
editFollowing a brief exchange at Here I have addded tags and propose the contents of Itchington is incorporated in this artitlce. Apart from being the nearest village Tytherington is also the name of the civil parish within which Itchington lies. Though Itchington is said in the article to be a village, in terms of definitions of a settlement it is clerly no more than a very small hamlet.Tmol42 (talk) 21:31, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'd be happy to see it merged. It is a small hamlet, and really doesn't have any particularly interesting features or buildings that justify a separate article. Ghmyrtle (talk) 21:59, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
- I agree with merging. Guidelines at WP:UKVILLAGES indicate that a parish is an appropriate article to handle tiny settlements which do not have any notable features to write about. Periglio (talk) 22:27, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
- Also agree with merging, as per the above points. PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 07:45, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think it is so small as hamlets go - a quick aerial count seems to show about 14 houses, and what looks like farms. Importance is another matter. It has it's own (though short) historical gazetteer entry. It is mentioned as a separate entry in Domesday. It is the site of a DMV. This might not be enough (I think it is) but it can be added wherever this place ends up. Acabashi (talk) 22:53, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- I would consider 14 houses a small hamlet. In any case most importantly to be a separate article it needs to meet WP:NOTABILITY. This proposal having had an airing as per the majority view above, I would now like to conclude by merging, any more thoughts before I go ahead? Tmol42 (talk) 23:21, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
