Hi there, I am happy to tell you that once again this article has passed GA without the need for any further improvement. Listed below is information on how the article fared against the Wikipedia:good article criteria, with a suggestion for future development. This is not required to achieve GA standard, but might help in future A-class or FAC review process.--Jackyd101 (talk) 20:38, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • It is reasonably well written.

I made a minor edit but otherwise this article is certainly well written. In terms of possible future development, all sections are quite short and it might be worth expanding or otherwise developing them, or alternatively merging Design and Construction as I have seen on some of your other articles.--Jackyd101 (talk) 07:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  • It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
Although not a factor in this review, it would be nice to see articles for these submarines. It might also be worth, since the articles do not yet exist, providing a little more context to this article regarding the service history of these submarines, with a little more information on ships sunk (when, what were they called?) etc.--Jackyd101 (talk) 07:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's the current plan after I write two articles for the U-43-class submarines. I will incorporate new information that I find into this article when I write them. I've also found a fair-use image of one of the subs and will include it in this article when I get it scanned in. — Bellhalla (talk) 12:37, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • It follows the neutral point of view policy.
a (fair representation):   b (all significant views):
  • It is stable.

  • It contains images, where possible, to illustrate the topic.
a (tagged and captioned):   b (lack of images does not in itself exclude GA):   c (non-free images have fair use rationales):
  • Overall:
    a Pass/Fail:
