Arizona assessment
editArizona has been pulled out due to the portion in Arizona not being a part of the National Highway System. Also, a state specific U.S. Route 64 in Arizona will not exist due to it being only four miles long and just a two-lane rural highway in the state. --Holderca1 talk 15:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Not sure what you mean about it not being a part of the National Highway System. Google maps and my 2022 Rand McNally Road Atlas both show it as passing into Arizona. Edgy4 (talk) 21:57, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
Inconsistent measures of length in North Carolina
editThe text of the Wikipedia US 64 article says that the North Carolina portion is 563 miles; the table of lengths in the different states says 604 miles, and the US 64 in North Carolina page says 614.9 miles. Which is it? I have seen mile markers > 600 on the Outer Banks, so 563 seems very suspect. Edgy4 (talk) 21:57, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
Links redirecting to this article
editI haven't been terribly active on Wikipedia for a while and so I hesitate to stick my head out and edit, but should the article not be edited to remove all these "Main article" links which do nothing more than link back to this article? As a reader, that link tells me "There's a place to go for more in-depth information" than the article I'm reading, but in EVERY case in this article, it simply redirects me back to the same article. - Cafemusique (talk) 16:17, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Done You raise a durned good point there. --Onore Baka Sama (talk) 16:33, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Moved from article
editWhat else do we need to move this table + other info to U.S. Route 64 in Arkansas? This beautiful junction list is currently hidden on the talk page, where zero casual readers would see it. Brandonrush Woo pig sooie 03:37, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Merge proposal
editI propose to merge U.S. Route 64 in Arizona here. It is quite short and has no major historical significance or major intersections. — PCB 00:42, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- Support - Too short in road length and undetailed for its own article. Dough4872 23:54, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- Support. All relevant details can be covered in the main article. VC 00:21, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
