source?
editIs there any source whatsoever for Phil Davis fighting Machida at this event?
Brock Lesnar vs Alistair Overeem
editI deleted the mention to this fight, despite another editor putting a notice "do not remove this unless you have credible information that the fight will not take place".
The reason for my deletion is that the only source for this "new" was the site mmabay. However, mmabay is notorious in the community for pubishing fake stories and fantasy fights[1][2][3][4]. I've been following mma for about 3 years, and I've lost count of how many bogus news I've seen there. It makes absolute no sense to publish information from a complete untrustworthy source and claim that it's true until a credible source dismiss it. The burden of proof is upon announcing the news, or everytime a tabloid published a far-fetched tale it would be a "scientific fact" until is was specifically proven false.Diego Vieitez (talk) 05:31, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Rumor: Alistair Overeem close to deal with the UFC
editMultiple sources are reporting that Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem is close to signing a deal with the UFC for an appearance at this event.[5]
The Overeem vs. Lesnar rumors may not be true, but there is talk of Overeem debuting at UFC 140, so at the very least, it would probably be okay to add the above sentence to the main page, plus BJPenn.com is a reliable source.
- I agree, I'll go ahead and add to the article, if that's okay.Diego Vieitez (talk) 22:05, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
this fight is taking place December 30th at UFC 141.--86.45.238.200 (talk) 19:47, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- I've removed Lesnar/Overeem from the article. Bigdottawa (talk) 20:20, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
Mark Hominick vs. Korean Zombie is a possibility because Mark did a [1] interview where he asked for the fight because it made a lot of sense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Phara0h-WP (talk • contribs) 16:38, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- Actually the Korean Zombie called out Hominick on twitter, with Hominick responding ok.

Walkout music
editCan't find the walkout music anywhere. Anybody got a list or something? (I'd really like to know the song Mark Hominick walked out to) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saffy21 (talk • contribs) 05:15, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Jones/Machida finish method
editWhen the loser of a fight don't tap but is visible unable to continue it is considered a technical submission not only submission, please someone modify that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.62.126.27 (talk) 17:40, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
