I've removed the estimated age of the encounter as the 2002 paper backing it up ([[1]]) assumes the southern galaxy is the one that interacted with the other galaxy. Hubble images in 2009 however show that the northern "galaxy" is actually composed of 2 galaxies in the advanced stages of merger, and the southern galaxy may merely be a background galaxy. In light of this new information, the estimated age of encounter is probably incorrect. TehUniverse (talk) 04:27, 25 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
