Notable petitions

Under the headline "notable petitions" the first line says: "On June 17, 2020 the petition with most signatures is the Justice for George Floyd petition started by Kellen S. This petition has at the point of writing this 18,037,868 signatures. A plethora of petitions have started for the same purpose and to help solve racial inequality but this is the one with the most signatures." - This has no citation, and there is currently no active petition on the UK parliament website that mentions George Floyd. The petition being referred to here is a Change petition (p/mayor-jacob-frey-justice-for-george-floyd) which is specifically aimed at Mayor Jacob Frey and DA Mike Freeman in the US and has nothing to do with either the UK or the UK parliament petitions website. Amend table to only include petitions with over 1,000,000 signatures

There are a sizeable number of petitions between 500,000 and 1,000,000 signatures, 7 of which remain omitted as of this post from the 2019-2024 parliament. I am therefore suggesting that the significant petitions table be adjusted to only include petitions which have achieved over 1,000,000 signatures. Troulson (talk) 00:10, 25 November 2024 (UTC)

Establish criteria of a 'successful' petition

All petition outcomes are marked as 'failed', criteria for classifying a petition as 'successful' needs to be established. Troulson (talk) 05:53, 25 November 2024 (UTC)

Removed it. It's not really clear what a "successful" petition would entail, if all listed so far are failed. EditorInTheRye (talk) 21:51, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
