- USS Titan (Star Trek) - A fictional star vessel in the Star Trek universe.
The Star Trek "USS Titan" is linked to from the USS Titan disambiguation article. surely there's no need to disambiguate this article, as "AGOS-15" is a Navy specific designation, and could not be confused with the Star Trek ship -- which has a different number. A user seeking that data wouldnt be directed here by mistake. -- CaptainMike 14:47, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
What is the history of this ship in terms of USNS/USS? I am under the impression that all ships of this type are USNS. However, I have been wrong before. --JAYMEDINC 05:38, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
After doing research on all Stalwart class tactical auxiliary general ocean surveillance ships for the last 24 hours, I can find no evidence of a USS Titan other than the USS Titan NCC-80102 from Star Trek. I think this article should refer to Star Trek's Titan on the article page rather than this talk page. The USNS Titan (T-AGOS-15) is now NOAA R/V Ka'Imimoana (R333). I do plan to create a page for the NOAA vessel when I get a chance. --JAYMEDINC 06:27, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- The US Navy ship article has been correctly named, moved and re-directed. Now the Star Trek USS Titan pages can be fixed by someone who knows about that subject. --JAYMEDINC 04:08, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
