Is the spelling of the ship's name correct? If so, is it really named after the Bighorn River (there is no such river as the "Big Horn River"). -- Decumanus 08:32, 19 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Does anyone have a picture/diagram/plan or detailed description of this anti torpedo gear?
I was a shipmate of someone who had been a crewman on this ship.
He said that he boarded it at night, in Boston, in civilan seamans clothing.
I think that he also said that he carried no Navy ID, but I could be wrong.
