At the time the submarine was built, the Navy considered the Yard to be in NH not Main. My friends birth certificate from the base says NH. Wikipedia usually puts the location as it was accepted at the time. For example a person would be listed as born in the Arizona Territory, and their might be a note that the location is now in New Mexico.
