The Feb 28 1945 decommissioning date corresponds to a documented maintenance period the LST 527 for the month of Feb 45. In researching my Father in Law's WWII service on the LST 527 I reviewed the original muster rolls through his date of discharge on 01/08/46 and the LST 527 was still in service and based in St John's River, Lee Field, Green Cove Springs FL. I don't know when it was decommissioned although I suspect St John's River was the end of the line. 108.36.203.171 (talk) 03:03, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
