This article is about a support ship in the USN. The description says it was converted from an unfinished LST. The picture shows a ship clearly derived from an LST. Therefore, it is not a Benewah-Class ship, as those were not derived from LSTs.
It looks like there were 9 Benewah ships, APL 35-43 (reclassified as APB 35-43 in 1944 before most were commissioned). APL/APB #44-48 were derived from LSTs and were not Benewahs. -SandyJax — Preceding unsigned comment added by SandyJax (talk • contribs) 15:48, 30 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
