“USS Guide (AM-447/MSO-447) was an Aggressive-class minesweeper acquired by the U.S. Navy for the task of removing mines that had been placed in the water to prevent the safe passage of ships.” Now, this really isn't my field, but ... are there really minesweepers that don't have the task of removing mines placed in the water to prevent the safe passage of ships? almost-instinct22:51, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
