Outdated links
editSince the USS Jarrett does not exist anymore the link provided in this article is outdated. Could they be updated by an expert on the subject? JasonHockeyGuy (talk) 00:46, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- https://archive.org/web/ is usually where I would start, you'll need to know the web link and approximate date the link was added. --Dual Freq (talk) 00:52, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
Interesting but uncited anecdote
editFirst section of the history chapter is a good little read but isn't concise or cited, nor written in the usual way (third person, without emphasis in all caps etc). Suggest finding sources and rewriting or removal? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.142.14.252 (talk) 13:55, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
uss missouri incident can be added here?
editfrom wiki, uss missouri
During the campaign, Missouri was involved in a friendly fire incident with the frigate Jarrett. According to the official report, on 25 February, Jarrett's Phalanx CIWS engaged the chaff fired by Missouri as a countermeasure against enemy missiles, and stray rounds from the firing struck the battleship, one penetrating through a bulkhead and becoming embedded in an interior passageway of the ship. One sailor aboard Missouri was struck in the neck by flying debris and suffered minor injuries 2A02:A45A:5DBA:1:6123:1409:989A:9968 (talk) 00:03, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
