Cause
editThere is a consensus on the fact that the second attack did not happen. To have it included in the article is incorrect and inconsistent with the facts. Please replace this.
Would it be worthy saying somewhere in the article its attack was the immediate cause of Vietnam war? [1]
- I added a link to the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. Considering that event is what made the ship famous, I don't understand why it would be excluded. - IstvanWolf 16:57, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Something needs to be added that indicates there is no consensus on the reality of the second attack. The facts presented on this page are in direct conflict with those seen on other pages such as the main Gulf of Tonkin Incident page. - CJM 12/17/08 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.100.146 (talk) 20:41, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
