Is there any information on what eventually happened to the wreck of the Panay? I remember seeing a picture of it sunk in the river, with stacks above water. It was in shallow water, and salvageable. Was it salvaged? Who salvaged it, the Chinese, the Americans, the Japanese?

Should we even consider this a World War II article? I mean, according the information on the page, the ship sank in 1937, two years before the war actually started... Magus732 (talk) 04:41, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
