Awards
editShe has more than just one NEM I know she was awarded one for the 2010-2011 deployment and a MUC. SanFran vet (talk) 15:44, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
- To include anymore awards in the article, you'll to find sources to support them. If you find some sourcing and post it here, along with the awards you want to add, an editor will help you do that. (If I'm around, I'll do it.) - wolf 04:51, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah I only have my evaluation reports as proof. And even then I don’t want to be “that guy”. I don’t want recognition either I just think the SSN 711 should be remembered more than just a collision. SanFran vet (talk) 04:57, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- I completetly agree with you. If I have some time in the next couple days, I can also help look for sources. Meanwhile, if you can find sources about anything else in San Franciso's history, such as deployments, exercises, upgrades, etc., etc., ...anything, even home port changes, any positive experiences, or just routine activitides typical of an SSN's service life, can be used to help build up the article and off-set the collisions.
Now, I take it that "
my evaluation reports
" means you served aboard this boat? Well, on the one hand; 'thank you for your service'. But on the other, it's quite likely that you may have a conflict of interest (<-please read that link), and as such, it's probably best that you don't edit this article, but instead post your edits here with an Edit request tag (<-please read that link), and other editors will post your edits for you. This may seem like a lot, but it's not really. It's quite common, and a fairly simple process. Good luck - wolf 05:45, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
