Cleanup gallery
editPer WP:GALLERY: if it is desired to gather all relevant images into a single page, then that page should not be in Wikipedia page but rather in Wikimedia Commons under commons:Category:Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Such a page can then per WP:ELMAYBE be linked from here via {{commons}} or {{commonscat}} jnestorius(talk) 15:50, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- Updated as suggested. If a more structured presentation of the engravings is thought necessary, then I would suggest a separate list page.--Verbarson (talk) 20:29, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
Error in Commons link
editThe {{Commons category|Bureau of Engraving and Printing|position=left}} link displays a warning (only in preview mode) in the navbox:
"Wikimedia Commons has media related to Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Preview warning: Commons category does not match the Commons sitelink on Wikidata – please check."
This is because the link expects to be from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing page, which would be logical. I suppose that someone could create a Commons category precisely matching this page, containing only those items that appeared in the specimen books, but I have neither the sources nor the inclination to do that. I have therefore left it as-is; a helpful link to those who are interested.--Verbarson (talk) 09:30, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
