Labeling Udmurt traditional religion as neopagan is as correct as calling Hindus neopagans. The fact that officially registered organisations focusing on Udmurt religion were allowed to form only after the collapse of the Soviet Union (which was hostile to existing religious organisations, e.g. the Orthodox Church, and blocked the formation of new ones) does not mean that the tradition is a neopagan one. -- Ohpuu (talk) 08:36, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Divided villages

edit

"Many Udmurt villages are divided in these two republics." Presumably this means that in many villages, some inhabitants are Muslims and others adhere to Udmurt Vos. But this sentence has no clear meaning. Readers of reference works should not be expected to guess at the meaning of what they read. Banderswipe (talk) 07:34, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
