Poorly Written/Bad Sources/Inaccurate

edit

Hi, this article is really poorly sourced, and I think we should all do our best efforts to change that. Having said that, I think there arent many sources for the article because aside from BBC's own articles and internet sites which do not really fulfil the wikipedia guidelines for quality source material. If you take a look at each and every one of the external links aside from the BBC website (which one could argue would have a vested interest in convincing the public these people are genuinely royal families etc) it doesn't take a genius to realise that using sites like these as the only references shows someone is clutching at straws to validate a predetermined story rather than preparing a genuine article from evidence.

Basically what I am trying to say is; just because there has been a 'reality tv show' doesnt mean that what BBC says is true.

These people may be descendants from royal families from a long time ago, but neither Saxony nor India have been Princely states or monarchies for a long time. You can easily look at Saxony on wikipedia and see that it is, and I quote "a state of Germany, located in the southeastern part of present-day Germany". The Germanic states of Bavaria and Saxony and all the rest have not had royal titles since the unification of modern day germany. Therefore it is inappropriate to refer to Xenia Von Sachsen as a princess because it is simply not true. Well look at the websites in German I hear you say... She is all over the internet, she must be a real princess celebrity? Well lets investigate further. Google Search Xenia Von Sachsen, and you will easily realise without having to read much German that each website there refers either to one of her vanity sites, social networking sites such as twitter facebook and myspace, or references to her reality tv show appearances.

Similarly a cursory glance at the wikipedia entry for Balasinor should show you that it is a town located in the Kheda district, in Gujarat, India. While India was formerly a collection of principalities, it has long been a republic.

The only actual 'kingdom' in the show is Buganda, which in fact is located within the democratic republic of Uganda.

At the very least, I think the " (Xenia Prinzessin von Sachsen)Princess of Saxony and Duchess to Saxony" should be removed from the article or be put in inverted commas.
