I'm about to go on a deleting spree here

This article is borderline company advertisement or was written by a Unisys employee searching for meaning to his life. The Eckert–Mauchly article is what led me here. Personally I don't wish to see the company fail, and I have superstitious beliefs that if I channel my hatred into this article, that I will somehow dislodge the fragile company, which is probably already hanging on a tiny thread. Somebody please convince me not to do this. Thanks 75.82.55.192 (talk) 11:16, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

Well, as a recent 'beneficiary' of Unisys's services, I can't claim to be an impartial voice. My company just outsourced all of our hardware and software support to them, and it has been an UNMITIGATED DISASTER. But maybe we should err on the side of conserving content (rewriting rather than deleting) if the content has any redeeming social importance. The existing article really does read like a marketing brochure -- eg, the use of "solution" instead of "product" or "service" -- but much of it may be useful. I say "may be" because I don't really have a good feel for what level of detail is appropriate in business article in Wikipedia. I'd say be bold, but not reckless. (Sorry, I know that's nebulous.)
Please do. Several of the IPs in the revision history are straight up from Unisys employees. In my opinion everything but the controversy section can go. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.38.221.107 (talk) 18:08, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
