Iran
editCan it be mentioned that the commission has been criticized for making Iran, a country known for its poor treatment of women, a member of the commission? It is similar to the way Sudan was put on the Human Rights Council.72.201.251.230 (talk) 23:22, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Potential Edits for Reproductive Rights
editHello all, For the purposes of closing the digital gender gap, I feel that it would be important to add a subsection to this article that emphasizes the importance of the efforts the Commission has undertaken with regards to the areas of reproductive rights and reproductive justice throughout the international community. My goal is to integrate the recent conclusions of the body to emphasize their commitment to these efforts along with the results of these efforts and critical evaluations of them. Also, I want to incorporate the reception of these efforts from multiple perspectives if possible. Please let me know any advice you may have or potential sources to utilize. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sharris19 (talk • contribs) 18:46, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
March 2024
editShouldn't we add the fact that, as of March 2024, Saudi Arabia is the new chair of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women? 98.123.38.211 (talk) 23:29, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
