Forest service controlled burns
editI’m not a believer in global warming, it seems the United States forest service is. Controlled burns, burns off all the “mulch” on the ground. (Pine needles, fir needles, grass, stick…) That dries out the ground, erosion. They should be trying to machanical thinning everything they can. For forest health, that is the superior choice! Controlled burns do very little good, a lot of time creates worse forest health. I cannot the F.S. has sold the public on it. 2001:5B0:250D:858:491A:34D2:E09C:653B (talk) 23:08, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
