Why is this lemma here at all?
editWhat exactly is the reason this lemma has been started at all?
Does it really add something to Wikipedia? Does it cover a specific subject, one which has not been covered by other, more specific lemmas? Or has it only been started as an opportunistic respons to politital uproar over the death of four US special forces in Niger?
There have long been lemmas on the US involvement in Africa; see for example: Pan Sahel Initiative, Trans-Saharan Counterterrorism Initiative and United States Africa Command.
Is there reason to believe that those do not sufficiently cover this subjectmatter? --77.174.132.116 (talk) 15:10, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
