Graphic violence (GV), in very rare cases, can be shown on a TV-PG show, as a ratings bumper reason, on Cinemax or Starz

It can be done with the right conditions. There's an episode of UFO Files that aired called "Cattle Mutilations," and while the episode was TV-PG and this was a documentary (in some cases it's TV-PG-V), the episode was rightly, as the V/O for the show in the intro says (I think his last name is Richardson), graphic. I'm not proposing to put it on the page, just giving somehting for people think about. The blood and remains felt not unlike something on a 90s syndicated action show, which was known for pushing the envelope with violence and profanity (and UPN's highly popular The Sentinel [which wasn't syndicated it was on a network but UPN is the result of new networks and syndicated blocks, that came just before it, like Fox], which had one use of "d**khead" and possibly an F-word or two, and the violence was not unlike a hard R movie, but not downright to the point that it would be graphic, was an example [and UPN stomped The WB in the ratings all 11 years, and I'm reviving UPN and creating WB, a real Warner Bros. network, no "The" before "WB," no Tribune]). In that epsiode, the nature of the mutiliations, while it was warranted and with purposed, was extremely graphic. We saw very bloody wounds on these animals, and we saw a very good amount of blood.
