New Unity → Unity (Latvia) – The party is not the same as the alliance and they still are two distinct legal entities Ivario (talk) 22:03, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
The Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, which is in charge of registration of businesses and organizations - like political parties and party alliances - in Latvia, shows that the political party (Latvian: politiskā partija) itself is still called Vienotība, with Jaunā Vienotība being an alliance of political parties (Latvian: politisko partiju apvienība). I'm fine with the name of the article on top, but in the lede and infobox should say simply Vienotība, with Jaunā Vienotība mentioned and explained in bold in the "History" section like it is now. --Ivario (talk) 23:20, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
- Support It seems that the discussion has been solved at the Latvian Wikipedia by creating two separate articles for Unity and New Unity, which should be the way to go here. I request a rename. Ivario (talk) 22:03, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
