DreamWorks Nashville

Which UMG Nashville imprint took over the DreamWorks Nashville catalog? Steelbeard1 (talk) 16:23, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lost Highway Records

edit

It seems that UMG Nashville does not have anything to do with Lost Highway Records. Lost Highway Records may be based in Nashville, but it does not answer to UMG Nashville and answers instead to The Island Def Jam Music Group. Should Lost Highway Records be split from the UMG Nashville article? Steelbeard1 (talk) 15:58, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you sure about that? All the CDs from Lost Highway that I have just say "© UMG Recordings". Adam McMaster (talk) 18:48, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
There is no question that Universal Music Group distributes Lost Highway Records. The point is that the Island Def Jam Group (a UMG label group) oversees Lost Highway and not UMG Nashville. Steelbeard1 (talk) 19:01, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Lost Highway Records article has been restored. Steelbeard1 (talk) 01:57, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Decca country music revival

edit

Looking at the One Flew South web site at [1], the news about their forthcoming album mentions "Decca Records" and not "Decca Nashville" I don't think MCA Nashville has any connection with the revived Decca country music line. The One Flew South link goes to the under construction new Decca Records site at [2]. Steelbeard1 (talk) 23:11, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
