spelling error in University Externado of Columbia
editColombia not Columbia - the u should be an o
Many corrections
editI went and cleaned up numerous errors both in grammar and spelling. A lot of them coming from translating literally from spanish to english. I also expanded the exchange programs section. Additionally I translated all the names of the programmes into english to give those with limited knowledge of spanish an idea of what discplines the university provides.
Finally I added the founding date, and the motto.

Day University? Antonym of "Boarding School"?
editI'm a student at the Universidad Externado de Colombia, and I believe that Day University is just plain weird. I have never seen this as the official english name of the university. The term Externado comes from this being the first university which wasn't a boarding school (Internado), so it was called Externado. So a better translation would be the antonym of boarding school. Any thoughts on what that would be?

Add?
editthe whole article sounds like an add done by the university itself. some parts seem to be plainly copied as it is written "our" in some sections. the article should be rewritten profoundly.

This is completely true. Phrases like "the dictatorship of the Regeneration" also have a profound political bias, since that period of Colombian History is not even recognised as one of dictatorship by the general public, but is by the political liberal section that the Externado makes part of.
Phrases like "most prestigous" and such should also be removed, unless a seemingly reliable source can be provided. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.85.117.20 (talk) 04:27, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
