editHello all. Going to be reworking this page over the next week or so. Mainly:
- I'm going to update the task descriptions with the most recent year's tasks. (2019)
- I'm going to add a rules and regulations section that talks about general rules not specific to tasks
- I'm going to add a History section, with info about the competition's early years, and how it's changed over time. Zachglee (talk) 04:18, 5 November 2018 (UTC)

@CactiStaccingCrane: @Fredjikrang: @Jawad Haqbeen: @XtraJovial: @SWinxy: Sorry for this blast from the past, but in the AfD, it was generally agreed that BYU Mars Rover should be merged here. What do you think are the most important parts to merge in, keeping WP:UNDUE in mind? I don't want this to become weighted too heavily on BYU's contributions. Joyous! | Talk 22:26, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
- Rereading the BYU article, there's a lot of stuff that isn't suitable for inclusion. The 'Awards' section might be better turned into a section on the rankings of contestants in each contest. The 'Technical overview' section should be excluded on the basis that it's like a manual (and uncited)--I don't think we want technical specifications anyway. That leaves the 'History' section: I'm not enthused by it. We can include that Dr. Allred leads the team? I'm not sure what else tbh. SWinxy (talk) 00:20, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
