Name change

edit

I want to change the name of this page, but I don't know how to do. Can somebody change the name of this page into "University of Curaçao" ? Thanks from the Netherlands.--I90Christian (talk) 09:04, 13 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Has UNA officially changed its name yet? The website still has the UNA brand all over it, no mention of the University of Curaçao. Also, is that "Mr. Dr." stuff at the end a) officially part of the new name, and b) capitalized the way it is (ie "mr. dr.")?

The article would be a *lot* better if sources were actually given for all of this, as the University's site itself doesn't hint at a name change, and that's a very big hit againt. --Canuckguy (talk) 00:11, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I submitted a link to an article of the Radio Netherlands Worldwide. Isn't there a new website? There is a lot changed since the reforms within our Kingdom, everything split up between the islands. For example, the websites of the NA-government are still available, while the new governments of Curaçao, Sint Maarten and (Caribean) Netherlands opened new websites. In the Dutch media the old name is rarely used, everybody uses the new name. And the mr. and dr. shouldn't be capitalized. The mr. is NOT the English name for "mister" but Dutch for "Master in Law" (Meester in Rechten). Dr. is the name for "Doctor", same as in English, but in Dutch also NOT capitalized. While the University name is in English, the titles are still Dutch and shouldn't be capitalized. I90Christian (talk) 13:07, 28 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
