Fair use rationale for Image:UTHseal.JPG
editImage:UTHseal.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:25, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Outdated Logo
editThe logo in question is outdated, whether or not it's covered under fair use. The new logo can be found here, if someone with an account wants to take the time to upload it. 139.52.180.222 (talk) 21:25, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Alumni
editIs there some reason why this article does not have a "notable alumni" section as most academic institutions do? --MelanieN (talk) 18:14, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
This new stub is so short, and has no real references, so I think it should be merged and redirected into the main article. Most universities and colleges do not have articles on every department and building. Bearian (talk) 14:23, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
- The school is not a "department" - it is under the UTHealth system, but it is its own entity. It is actually the only free-standing health biomedical informatics school in the U.S. In fact, it has been rated as one of the top health informatics schools in the United States. Yes, the article needs work but it can certainly be expanded with new references and material added. Redirecting it would halt the article's growth and discourage editors from expanding it. McGovern Redirect
editIt seems strange that the McGovern med school redirects to this page (a previous editor made it so that McGovern linked out to the official website). It seems like the med school should have its own entry as an independent institution within UTHealth (like the other institutions). --JUN1U5 (talk) 16:45, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
