Missing information
editThere are some discrepancies that would be useful to clarify:
- The University was founded in 1973 but the city in which it resides was founded in 1987. Did it move? I heard it did but others might leave this article thinking it was originally built in Tsukuba city.
- Leo Esaki is listed as an alumni yet that article claims he is a graduate of University of Tokyo. Which is it? And does having been president qualify for being an alumnus?
- While I have no reason to doubt it it would be nice to cite a reference that supports Tsukubadai being a prestigious university. Considering its location I know it has no problems in finding well qualified staff.

The university did not move. It was first located in Sakura-mura (Sakura villege), and then the villege was merged into some other towns/villeges around and became Tsukuba city in 1987. Yuryu 01:27, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
I deleted the list of alumunus. They are not alumunus. The history of Tsukuba University is short. 26 August 2006 haohao
