Contextually Inaccurate
editThe sentence below is contextually inaccurate. The University was not established in 1851, it was not even thought of. The Minor's Teachers College, formerly the Normal School was merged with two pre-existing schools (Washington Technical Institute and Federal City College) to create The University of the District of Columbia in 1977.
University of the District of Columbia was established on December 3, 1851, as the Normal School for Colored Girls. The school grew through mergers and consolidation into the only public university in Washington, D.C. 2601:14D:8100:4210:99CA:68D0:EBB3:9EAA (talk) 13:36, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
