  • "on February 8, 2015 on" comma after 2015. ✔
  • I think the lead could be expanded a touch, perhaps to just cover the plot in the episode in a couple of lines? ✔
  • Is it worth noting the international release of the episode via Netflix in the lead as well? (I hadn't realised that the entire series had been aired on AMC in the US before I got to see the first episode in Europe...) ✔
  • "highest-rated series premiere" I'd call that "most-viewed" rather than "highest-rated", especially straight after talking about how the critics found it. ✔
  • "before it was overtaken by Fear the Walking Dead." I don't think this is relevant in the lead. Just say it was the most-watched at that time. ✔
  • "He's currently" avoid contractions.✔
  • " Jimmy meets at a diner with the prospective clients" ENGVAR I expect but I'd prefer " Jimmy meets with the prospective clients at a diner"✔
  • " his "office" - the " en dash, not spaced hyphen.✔
  • The main Saul article calls the company "Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill". ✔
  • And put (HHM) afterwards so when you use the abbreviation, it's clear what it means. ✔
  • "to himself accurately but misleadingly " not sure how I reconcile those two descriptors. ✔
  • Avoid single-sentence paragraphs. ✔
  • " is filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Breaking Bad was also filmed.[5] As filming " repetitive "filmed/filmed/filming" here. ✔
  • "on June 2, 2014[6] director Vince Gilligan" no need to repeat "Vince", there's no other Gilligan, and comma after 2014.✔
  • "In her review of the series premiere..." why is this in the "production" section? ✔
  • Forbes is piped to a redirect back to itself, unnecessary. ✔
  • New York Post quote is too much. ✔
  • " of The Huffington Post gave" either include "The" in the link, or decap it. ✔
  • Definitely needs to mention it being streamed on Netflix with some associated reactions/viewership figures. (Netflix viewing figures aren't published publicly)
  • Check refs, e.g. Toronto Star is a work so needs to be in italics. Ditto New York Post etc etc etc. ✔

Some work to do here, so I'll put it on hold. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 13:14, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Comment: About the Netflix thing, I tried including it in the second seasons page more than a year ago, but it was taken off and discussed. The Optimistic One (talk) 14:53, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Well since I assume (and note, I assume) a large portion of the viewership for this was not via AMC, it should be covered in the article. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 15:10, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Apologies, it was the first season; It can be viewed here. The Optimistic One (talk) 15:18, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Well it doesn't alter the fact that it was shown outside the US on Netflix, and that it should be covered here and associated viewing figures should be given too, otherwise this is purely a US-centric view and that's not acceptable for a show which has a global audience. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 15:42, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
I agree. The Optimistic One (talk) 15:48, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Is On Location Vacations a reliable source? ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:58, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I haven't spent too much time on the refs yet, that comes after the first draft of the review. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 16:08, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Also, thoughts on merging the "Ratings" and "Accolades" subsections since the latter has just one sentence? "Rating and accolades"? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:03, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

As I noted above, "avoid single-sentence paragraphs". The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 16:08, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
I merged the 2 subsections. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:11, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

The Optimistic One have you addressed these various issues? The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 10:27, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've addressed some, and I have put a tick over the ones I have resolved myself. The Optimistic One (talk) 21:38, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

The Rambling Man What's your opinion? The Optimistic One (talk) 20:31, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

On what? Many comments haven't been ticked off. Are they all complete? The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 20:32, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
I've only ticked the ones I've done myself. I'll tick the rest. The Optimistic One (talk) 20:35, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

The Rambling Man Excluding the Netflix part; which it's inclusion was discussed and debated, all of these tasks are complete. The Optimistic One (talk) 23:25, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Well as I said before, the Netflix distribution and viewing figures should be included or else the article doesn’t show an international view. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 05:58, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Netflix doesn't publish it's viewing figures publicly. The Optimistic One (talk) 06:15, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

The Rambling Man I'm completely finished; I wish I could include viewership figures for Netflix, but they don't publish them publicly. The Optimistic One (talk) 06:30, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Further

  • "the episode had it's premiere " maybe just "the episode premiered". ✔
  • "viewers[1]." refs after punctuation. ✔
  • What's referencing the 53-minute runtime?
  • "working at the back of a nail salon. While Mike Ehrmantraut is a security guard at a parking lot." merge these sentences, it reads very awkwardly to start a sentence with "While..." ✔
  • " his "office" - the boiler room " that hyphen should be an en-dash. ✔
  • " in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the " comma after New Mexico. ✔
  • "received highly favorable reviews" in the lead vs "episode received generally positive reviews" these are different levels of enthusiasm...! ✔
  • "18-49" should be en-dash, not hyphen. ✔

Just another quick run through. I haven't checked thoroughly yet, as a few more things have cropped up since. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 10:15, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Alright, I've sorted all them issues bar one: Runtime. Imdb usually always accurately has the runtime for television episodes. However, we don't list Imdb as a source. The Optimistic One (talk) 14:54, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
.@The Rambling Man: Is it good to go? The Optimistic One (talk) 16:48, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
I don't know, I haven't re-visited it yet. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 16:51, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
No worries, take your time. The Optimistic One (talk) 18:46, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I made a couple of minor adjustments, but overall I'm content that this easily meets the requirements of GA, so I'll promote. Good work. The Rambling Man (REJOICE!) 11:24, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
