The result of the move request was: page moved. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 17:49, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
Up Out My Face (Remix) → Up Out My Face — The title of the page should be the name of the song and does not need to disambiguate the specific version of the song. The details of the single release being a remixed version are described in the article itself. Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 00:26, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Support. This merely reverses a previous move, for which there was no apparent discussion or reason. See http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Up_Out_My_Face&action=history and note the edit summary doesn't really justify the previous move. Andrewa (talk) 05:54, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Support per nom. SKS (talk) 06:06, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Strong support Articles are about songs, not single releases. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 20:15, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Disagree the remix and the original version of the song are completely different entities of work. They even appear on different albums. And before we argue about whether Angels Advocate is a remix or studio album it is being promoted by Def Jam as her 13th studio album so will chart seperately from Memoirs. Have the '(Remix)' part helps us distinguish the single from being from Angels Advocate and not Memoirs. We should at least wait for the official Angels Advocate track listing to see how it is listed there. Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:48, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Support and in fact I'm surprised it wasn't just moved to begin with. About a zillion billion songs are remixed, for any number of reasons. Articles are about SONGS. The fact that it was remixed is part of the song's history. This should be moved ASAP. - eo (talk) 21:27, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
- Support:Although I agree with LilUnique, I was the one who made the page in the first place thinking the same however now I see that every single song is going to have "Remix" in it when the song isn't called a remix, maybe it should just be written in the prose. - It's moved. Close the discussion. Vanjagenije (talk) 00:41, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
