editThis page should probably be moved back to the "Utne Reader" page, because that's what the magazine is currently called (See article).

Name changes? Request for clarification.
editWhy is the article Utne (magazine) instead of Utne Reader (magazine)? The article states "The magazine was founded...as Utne Reader, which changed its name in 2004." What did the name change to? Presumably Utne, but that's not clear. Then the article goes on to say that in 2006 that "the title 'Utne Reader' was retained." It seems to imply that the name was something other than Utne Reader for some time between 2004 and 2006, but the article isn't clear. Someone who knows and can source it would be great to edit it. - With some searching I managed to find something about the title change. I added this clarification with reference. I believe this page should be headed Utne Reader and not Utne Reader (magazine), but here I make leave because that would entail changing many redirects. Pepso2 (talk) 11:40, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Pronunciation?
editWhy no note? It's not a really straightforward spelling. Is it "Uht-nee" or "ootnee" or just "Uhtn"? "Ootn"? "Ootney"? --Buddy13 (talk) 10:22, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
"Expand" template?
editMediaMaven2004 here - what's the current equivalent for the former "expand" template? I don't in any way mean to criticize this article with "incomplete", I just don't know what to put here to draw improvements. MediaMaven3 (talk) 03:30, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
print magazine?
editSo the lead section says Utne Reader "is a digital digest", but makes no mention of Utne having been a print magazine. And the article doesn't mention when they stopped publishing a print magazine. I searched occasionally for a few months and never saw an explanation (for them stopping print magazine) from official Utne sources. --EarthFurst (talk) 21:25, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
