I have added the D R Congo banner to this article, as it concerns an outstanding living intellectual who hails from that nation. As a researcher in specifically French and Belgian culture I am not an expert on Mudimbe, but know enough from professional connections as to be able to substantiate that claim and certain other basic facts about him.
