Vallonia excentrica: Distribution Section

I'm curious about the accuracy of the "Distribution" section of this article. I live in Atlanta, GA, and I found out about these snails because I found one of their shells in some topsoil I scooped into a pot for my indoor plants.

The shell was on the top of the dirt AFTER I scooped it in and watered my plant, and the shells of these snails are documented to rise to the surface after rain (or in my case, watering) https://www.stuff.co.nz/oddstuff/91461096/eccentric-snails-named-but-mystery-remains-over-how-they-arrived
